For those of you out there who were afraid of exhausting your “bucket list” of must-see sites around the world, I have good news and bad news. Blame the UN.

The United Nations, meeting today in Brasilia, added 21 new sites to its list of World Heritage Sites, and expanded its listing for seven sites already on it. In effect, that gives you 28 incredible new sights to see around the world.

The list is put together by UNESCO, the UN Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization. For the list of the new additions, look here. You can find the full list — all 911 sites, broken down by country — on the UNESCO World Heritage website.

The good news — more of the world’s wonders are now being preserved and waiting for you experience them for yourself.

The bad news? Your “bucket list” may have just grown a little longer.

You’ll just have to take care of your health and save your coins, the better to keep working your way down that list.
