URGENT: New Orleans

Tropical Storm Isaac is expected to reach hurricane strength upon leaving the Florida Keys and is on a course projected to carry it to New Orleans.
The City of New Orleans is now on hurricane warning and a state of emergency is now in effect in both the city of New Orleans and the State of Louisiana.
As a visitor, you need to keep informed of the latest development and be prepared to act calmly and quickly as the situation changes.
According to Mayor Mitch Landrieu, the city’s international airport is expected to shut down once winds reach 40 mph. Plan accordingly.
